We purchased a large Laney Sectional and absolutely love it! We have a cat and a dog, so being able to wash the fabric and easily take it off and on is one of the reasons we love our furniture. Home Reserve furniture has been the best purchase and our family enjoys it daily.
And maybe one day I will want to go back to the curvy look, who knows. If that day comes, I can order new back cushions and a new arm for the end chair in the curvy styles and change the entire look of the sectional. It really is an ingenious way of creating your own custom and unique look for your own life. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical about the 10-year warranty on the frame when everything was delivered in flat-pack boxes, ready to be assembled. Once you order your sectional/couch typically your shipment should arrive in about 15 days. At the time of my order I knew they were a little behind but to be honest they did an amazing job.

Not all couches are one size fits all. The cushions have held up wonderfully, no sagging or compression. The frames are all still intact, which I wasn't expecting considering I have 2 kids that enjoy jumping on the couch. My only 2 complaints after all this time is that I don't love the fabric we chose, and the seats are not as deep as I'd like, but we've gotten used to it. So what’s involved in putting together you’re own couch from what can only be described as wooden, plastic, and foam puzzle pieces? I took the day off when ours was delivered so I could dedicate the whole day to putting the sectional together.
I chose this company based on their ethos, which the employees, in turn, emulated thoroughly. When we looked further into the features, we found that every. That is huge for us because our home has minimal closet and storage space. As for pet hair the one thing I noticed is the color & material of Maltese Flax shows black dog hair a little more than other colors. It is still very easy to vacuum and wipe off. The only time I have really missed those wide comfy seats is when I was sick with the flu a couple of weeks ago and my sore muscles were really wanting to sprawl out a bit more.
Are the Couches Made in the USA?
Since this is a modular sectional there are seams between each section as opposed to being one continuous piece. I have solved this by hanging a blanket on the back. I don't have any current photos that don't show my living room a mess (ha!) but it has held up well, we even moved and rearranged it at our new place. It was easy to take apart and lightweight .
I did already test the pet care fabric to see if liquids are repelled and they definitely are. The cat also felt the need to double-test the fabric and all was well. I’m thinking I will need to update this post in a year to share how well everything holds up and thoughts on Home Reserve ownership for the long haul. But for now, consider me a happy Home Reserve customer.

She not only was prompt on all her communications , she was articulate, helpful, pleasant, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I seriously did not think this type of customer service existed anymore. Please share my feedback with her manager. I also love that you are an American company. And the color we chose really brightens the room so much. Love our couch, it’s black fabric and easy to vacuum off and spot clean.
The only other downside I’ve noticed so far is that the fabric we chose attracts our pets’ fur, so we have to be a little diligent in pulling that off at least once a week. It’s worse in the warmer months, but that’s to be expected. For anyone wanting the same look and color listed below is our exact sectional fabric, style and layout. This sectional is literally something I can see us having forever.
Our previous sofa/loveseat combo was dark leather that had big puffy arms and cushions. Very comfy, but also pretty cumbersome in our small space, and the dark color really made the room look darker than I wanted it, so we decided tpo look for new options. Also, there was only seating for 5, which is the exact number of people in our family. If we had guests over, people were sitting on ottomans, dining room chairs, or an extra chair we had moved into the room.
Other than that, I still find it quite comfortable to lay out on a daily basis. Besides the appearance, let’s touch on what else I love. For starters, I enjoyed being able to create our own layout. Ordering was a super simple process, and the customer service team is amazing.
Customer service was phenomenal- they not only arranged to ship to us, but even held the shipping by a few days so it wouldn't arrive when we were out of town. Overall, I am very happy with this sectional despite my family’s desire to have big brown back up here haha! Fortunately for them that has moved to the basement so they can still enjoy it down there. And it’s custom to the exact size and configuration that we need. I really can’t think of any downsides to it. The first piece I assembled was the Left Armchair.

But, then again, that's one of the reasons I chose the company. We ordered a sectional before our baby was born and not only is the quality poor, there are several missing pieces. Hoping customer service contacts us so we can get the right pieces asap or return to get my 3k back.
